Days Chimpanzee Trekking Tour to Nyungwe Forest
Day 1: Meet in Kigali – Transfer to Nyungwe National park
The drive from Kigali to nyungwe takes around 6 – 7 hours .

On the way to Nyungwe if time allows you can visit the Ancient King palace, the Rwanda national Museum and the Murambi Genocide Memorial. Arrive at your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe Forest – Back to Kigali
After breakfast you will proceed to the park headquarters for briefing at 6:00am. Unlike other countries like Uganda where chimpanzee tracking activity starts at 8:00am, here in Nyungwe forest National Park the activity starts at 6:00am. You will enter into the forest when its dark and sometimes you will be able to see primate species such as Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed Monkey, Dent’s Mona Monkey, Olive Baboon, Grey-cheeked Mangabeys among other primates, forest birds and later, you will be able to see the chimpanzees when its already day time.
Return to your Hotel after the tracking for Lunch and later drive back to Kigali for your evening flight if organized.
